Parish Administrator

Reporting to the Rector, the Parish Administrator serves as the primary coordinator of the administrative life of St. Barnabas. This position is responsible for supporting parish communications, office operations, recordkeeping, facilities coordination, and the day-to-day functioning of the parish.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a welcoming, professional demeanor. They should be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, maintaining accurate records, producing high-quality written communications, and working collaboratively with clergy, staff, volunteers, parishioners, and members of the wider community.

Working approximately 20 hours per week, generally Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, compensation is $20-25 an hour based on qualifications.

Sunday School Director

Reporting to the Rector, the Sunday School Director serves as the primary leader for the spiritual formation of children from preschool through fourth grade at St. Barnabas. This position is responsible for planning and leading Sunday School, supporting children and families in their faith journey, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, and helping create a welcoming and engaging environment for Christian formation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a love for working with children, strong communication and leadership skills, reliability, creativity, and a commitment to Christian faith and formation. They should be comfortable teaching children, partnering with families, and working collaboratively with clergy, staff, and volunteers. Finally, they must be able to nurture faith within the traditions, worship, values, and teachings of The Episcopal Church.

Working approximately six hours per week, including Sunday mornings and preparation time throughout the week, compensation is $18-20 per hour, based on experience.
