Carillon

Our electronic Verdin carillon, housed in our tower, chimes the hours from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm and plays hymns at noon and 6:00 pm - traditional hours for praying the Angelus. The carillon also plays hymns prior to our services (outside of Lent) to draw the community to prayer. It is our hope that when we hear the bells ring we will be reminded to stop, remember God’s presence, and offer a prayer.

Why are the bells ringing?

As we surpass 1,000,000 American COVID deaths: Today at 5:30 pm our bell will toll 100 times - once for every 10,000 Americans lost to the pandemic. Rest eternal grant to them, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon them.
